Middle Matters Too!

Guess where the glaciers took New England's rich soil? The Middle Colonies! When the glaciers melted, the soil was dropped on the land. The good soil helped grow crops. Also the climate was good for growing crops. The growing season was longer in the Middle Colonies than the New England Colonies. They also had many rivers (such as the Hudson) that was good for transportation. Also the forests have many wildlife that's great for hunting.
