Pennsylvannia sounds like Pencilvannia but the first one's the right spelling! WHOA! It have REALLY got to stop that.
Fact 1: William Penn started Pennsylvannia.
Fact 2: Pensylvannia was founded in 1682 at Philadelphia.
Fact 3: The name was a clash of the founder's last name (Penn) and the latin word for forest (sylvannia).
Fact 4: The people there farmed and manufactured for a living.
Fact 5: The unique thing was that it was the only colony with free religion.
